Please join us at the next AWRA NCRS meeting to learn about important recent work coming out of the DC Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) Water Quality Division. DOEE’s Water Quality Division monitors and tracks the water quality within the District and implements programs to improve the health of DC’s rivers and streams.

At this meeting, DOEE will discuss the development of their Rapid Stream Assessment public data dashboard, which shows the results from DOEE’s ongoing efforts to assess the condition of the stream network within the District and identify potential stream health issues that may require remedial action. DOEE will also showcase the new Stream Condition Index, which is a report card for DC’s 25 wadable streams. Lastly, DOEE will also share their recently released 2023 MS4 Permit story map.
