Anacostia River Boat Tour
Anacostia Riverkeeper will lead us on a 2-hour private educational tour! We will be in an open-air boat that rides low in the water, so please dress casually for the weather and bring plenty of water, hats, sunscreen and snacks. Personal Flotation Devices (PFD’s) will be available at the dock for passengers. If your child is under 50 lbs please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Registration Fee: $5.00*
Waiver: All boat passengers are required to sign a photo and liability waiver, which can be downloaded here or signed in person at the dock.
Professional Development Hours: PDH Certificates are available upon request.
*Proceeds will go towards the organization of future AWRA-NCRS educational events and/or will go toward a donation to a non-profit water resources organization such as Anacostia Riverkeeper. We are thankful to the Anacostia River Explorers for providing this tour free of charge to the AWRA-NCRS through a grant from the DC Department of Energy and Environment, Anacostia River Cleanup and Protection Fund and District of Columbia 5 cent bag fee.
